On Sundays: active day trips to join
deep into nature, with a different destination each week, with a beautiful lake at the end for a refreshing dip (usually one way, returning by train).
Perfect for Berliners who want to discover more about and around their city!
On Saturdays: ½-day round trip to join
to Grunewald forest, packed with sightseeing highlights such as the 1936 Olympic Stadium, Charlottenburg palace and Teufelsberg.
Perfect for the curious visitor who wants to explore beyond the beaten path!

ABOUT
Bike Beyond Berlin was founded and is run by Marc Poorterman. Originally from Holland, he grew up on a bike, and eventually followed his heart to Berlin to get more inspired and in touch with nature. Since 2017 he has worked as a cycling tour guide throughout Europe (and beyond), and in 2019 he started organizing day trips out of his beloved Berlin.

Bike Beyond Berlin is based on the belief that cycling is the ultimate way of discovering new places. It allows you to really connect to the world around you, getting you out of your head and into the actual experience. Marc loves to combine his extensive experience in cycling and traveling with a passion for sharing history and inspiring others. Living in Berlin and venturing out by bike, discovering the beautiful nature surrounding the city, which at the same time is so full of history, made him want to share this amazing region with other adventurous and active souls.
